Contact Sheet for Shoes

This is the contact sheet for one of my Digipak Sides, My shoes are orignially pink but I will edit them to be a maroon colour. I also wanted a dirty shoe effect to make it look worn and urban. 

Font

Font is important in any print based media, it is what is displayed to your audience, so it would need to have the correct style and appropriateness for the occasion. These are the fonts I have picked out that are potentially going to feature in my digipaks and magazine advertisements.

22/11/12 - Beginning scequence. Business woman getting dressed and travelling. Sunset and location fades.
23/11/12 - Going to Trocadero to film Steven, Isaac and Georgie.
24/11/12 - Possibly going to Southbank to film across the Thames.
30/11/12 - Filming on the Streets, Kayleigh, Treieve, Jack and Ellie.

This is the initial design of my digipaks and magazine adverts, it also includes the feedback and changes I am going to make when I take the images.

Final Pitch Feedback

I feel that to be successful in creating a product that will appeal to audiences, I feel that having feedback is always necessary. This is the feedback I gained from a certain few people who listen to electro house and fit in with my target audience.

Permission to Use Song

It is important that I do not breach the copyright to the song so I ensured I asked for permission before use. I went to the Ministry of Sound website, which Data Records is apart of and put it in the enquires.

Analysis of Previous A2 Work

I decided to analyse Faisal's work because I felt he was sucesssful in showing a simple narrative and also performance styled video. I felt that his work was professional and included lots of different and interesting shots.

Auditions: The Replies

After sending the notifier for the auditions I received a couple emails and messages over facebook and hotmail regarding. Many people sent me videos of their dancing or ability. There was a variety of skill and has increased my potential of creating a exciting and talent filled music video. Here is a print screen of some of the emails I received, I have blurred out the emails for privacy purposes. I have also highlighted the replies for easy viewing.

Storyboards

I have finally finished the final storyboards for my music video. This is important as it acts like a guideline to my video and how to direct it. I created the storyboards by looking for music videos that inspire me and using shots which I feel are interesting and aesthetically pleasing. As my music video will have lots of repetitive shots I have created titles for each storyboard so I can refer back to certain scenes if they are repeated and do not have to create a new storyboard.

These are the clothing that I have picked out that has the style and edge I want my actors to have. They are all from clothing websites that I feel would compliment the theme and genre of my music video. In Latter stages I will put them together to give a more professional feel.

Planning

This is a handwritten version of my planning and the tasks I feel that will benefit my production process.

Makeup Design

Along with costume designs that are currently being designed and thought of, I had some ideas for some makeup that would look effective on my music video. I felt the business lady will have a smokey eye and professional look, two male dancers will have a striking and creative face deign and the ballet dancer to have a leopard print.

Structure of Music Video

To structure my music video I had to break down the certain parts of the song, it required me to listen to the song several times and write down the starts and ends of certain parts. This will help me structure my music video and plan what I want in each part.
